SiDAX Limited is committed to responsible sourcing and ensuring that our products do not contribute to conflict or human rights abuses.

We acknowledge the potential risks associated with the extraction and trade of certain minerals, specifically tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold (3TG) from regions affected by armed conflict and human rights abuses, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo and adjoining high risk areas. We support the aim of the Conflict Mineral rules pursuant to Section 1502 of the U.S. Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.

We require our suppliers to:

  • Exercise due diligence on the source and chain of custody of conflict minerals
  • Commit to sourcing minerals from smelters or refiners that are certified conflict free through recognised industry schemes, with responsible sourcing standards, such as the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP)
  • Provide full transparency and disclose the origin of 3TG used in the products we purchase

We endeavour to ensure compliance with the legislation and the use of conflict minerals, and we do not knowingly source from suppliers who support both directly or indirectly armed groups in the DRC or surrounding countries, regardless of their country of origin. We will work to eliminate such sourcing from our supply chain.

Through this policy SiDAX Limited seeks to promote accountability across its supply chain and expects its suppliers to adopt similar policies and to communicate these expectations to their sub-suppliers.

Signed:

Simon Rance
